HOLY FOOLS: LIVE & GNASHING

Holy Fools are a rock & roll union from Oakland, Cal whose five members can regularly be found bashing each other in and out of the spotlights of America’s stages, guitars flailing and tambourines flying. They are a truly bold live act who connect sheer exuberance with reckless abandon in the pursuit to display a totally different show each time out.

HOLY FOOLS: WE PISS WHERE WE CAN

Jumpin’ Justin Kanalakis & Ed Hardy, Jr. began constructing the tower of Holy Fools song some years ago in garages and bedrooms. The team soon grew to include Detroit native Jeremiah Sandoval, whose muscular bass--and production handiwork--brought the Fools into the home studio world of 1234 47th Ave. The mortar: the precise, flavorful guitar work of Chris Love (court reporter by day, six string ninja by night.) The brick: the appropriate drumming of very French and flesh-forward Laurent Coene.

HOLY FOOLS: AS THEIR SOUND DEVELOPED, SO DID THEIR ABILITY TO TELL RIGHT FROM WRONG

Holy Fools play a trademark-pending musical brand known as Noise Rock Americana--true rock & roll charcoal-filtered through the expanse of the American musical experience. Aging together in the mash tub of Noise Rock Americana are folk, psychedelic rock, blues, country, punk, and other savory ingredients. The product distilled from this heady brew is a self-assured restlessness for a single form of expression in song.
